I am a systems engineer working for a corporation in the aerospace sector. Before anybody gets excited about that – the hours are not great and the benefits barely adequate compensate for the hassle, but a guy’s got to pay his bills somehow. I am a huge geek, and while I have some “normal” hobbies – I enjoy travel, for example – science and technology probably hold the greatest fascination for me. I also get way too passionate about politics, and the incredible stupidity of the human race.
This website has existed, in various incarnations and at various adresses before I obtained jeppe.de, since late 1995. It always described my person and my life – since January 2002 also with a true, script-controlled weblog.
I hope you’ll find something interesting, insightful, funny, or at least weird here. And like all my websites, this one’s interactive – leave me some feedback or comment on the stories. Ask questions, give your opinion; just keep it civil!
Sorry about the photo, it’s the most recent shareable photo of myself. That’s what I look like after climbing on a mountain in 30°C.
Thank you for visiting my virtual home!
