Here’s an Inkscape drawing I completed today:

I am moving my art & design work over to my world design blog and won’t cross-post stuff here much anymore.

Still experimenting with Inkscape.

It’s very simplistic, but at least it kind of looks like a cave. (And, yes, I know that water doesn’t look blue in a cave, but it’s still the easiest way to get the idea across.)

An attempt at a logo design for a fantasy Mars:

Not perfect, but not too bad either if I may say so myself. Just needs some work.

Update: I updated the image and added a caption, too – “Under the Moons of Mars”, the original title of “A Princess of Mars“. I actually like it now.

I’ve recently been practicing my Inkscape skills. They’re still lousy, but at least I manage to get some kind of decent results now:

“Vancouver to Brazil in less than six days – with the Pan-American Airship Company!”

It’s of course an alternate history thing.
